We rely on an accurate attendance count to make important arrangements for our workshops. If an attendee needs to withdraw from a workshop, they must inform us via email or fax no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the scheduled workshop. The POGIL Project will confirm the receipt of the cancellation within three business days.
For any cancellations that are made more than 30 days prior the workshop, you will be charged a non-refundable administrative fee of $35 for 1-day events and $75 for 3-day events.
Cancellation requests made between 7 and 30 days prior to the start of the workshop will be charged a minimum of 50% of the original workshop fee.
No refunds will be available for cancellations within one week of the workshop. Please take this into account when you sign up for a workshop.
Housing (if applicable) will be provided only to those workshop attendees who have signed up for this option.
Workshop registration is not transferable to another individual should you choose to withdraw.
The POGIL Project reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop. The POGIL Project may cancel a workshop that does not meet minimum registration requirements or due to inclement weather. If The POGIL Project cancels a workshop, paid registrants will be given full refunds. Rescheduled workshop information will be posted on The POGIL Project website at www.pogil.org.
Inclement Weather Policy
If you have registered for a POGIL Project workshop and traveling may be hazardous the day of the workshop, please use your own judgment when deciding to attend. Those who cannot attend a workshop because of inclement weather should contact The POGIL Project National office and refund decisions will be made on an individual basis.
