    • Description
This is the inaugural Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting and Workshop. This meeting is designed to have elements of both a regional meeting and a POGIL workshop in order to allow attendees of all levels of POGIL interest the opportunity to learn and share about POGIL projects within the region. Multiple tracks include workshops for those who would like an introduction to POGIL, as well as more advanced sessions for attendees of intermediate and expert levels. In addition, there will be many sessions that allow for networking and presentations about POGIL related projects. Sessions include: introductory POGIL, writing activities, facilitation 101, POGIL for labs, clickers, classroom facilitation, POGIL for high school, writing coach training, break out sessions for multiple disciplines, SoTL, feedback for activity authors, poster sessions, and speakers. Housing and meals will be provided for all attendees.

We expect all participants to attend the meals provided at this meeting. Although not required, we would prefer that all participants stay in the provided housing. This is a great opportunity to discuss POGIL related matters.

More information on the sessions can be located at http://pogil.org/resources/workshop-facilitator-toolbox/national-meeting/regional-meetings
