This is the inaugural Southeast Regional Meeting and Workshop. This meeting is designed to have elements of both a regional meeting and a POGIL workshop in order to allow attendees of all levels of POGIL interest the opportunity to learn and share about POGIL projects within the region. Multiple tracks include workshops for those who would like an introduction to POGIL, as well as more advanced sessions for attendees of intermediate and expert levels. In addition, there will be many sessions that allow for networking and presentations about POGIL related projects. Sessions include: introductory POGIL, writing activities, facilitation 101, POGIL for labs, clickers, classroom facilitation, POGIL for high school, writing coach training, break out sessions for multiple disciplines, SoTL, feedback for activity authors, poster sessions, and speakers. Housing and meals will be provided for all attendees.
We will begin accepting submitted applications on 3/1/10. You will be notified of your status by 3/15/10.
