Pogil - Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning

Would you like to apply to be a classroom tester?

Interested High School teachers from across the country are invited to participate in the HSPI project by serving as a classroom tester.

To serve as a classroom tester, please complete the application as directed. Upon approval, access to a limited number of available activities will be granted. Completion of Classroom Feedback forms and Course Demographic profile will be required to have continued access to activities, and to download new activities, as they are made available. See the application form for complete details.

To apply to be a Classroom Tester you will need to:

  1. Review the Classroom Tester application (please use the latest Adobe Reader to open/save the form). Note that you will need to have attended at least 3 hours of POGIL training to be considered as a classroom tester.
  2. Review the topic lists (below) to determine which set of activities you would like to test (you will be limited to just one testing group, e.g., AP Chem Group 1)
  3. Review the Classroom Feedback Form and the Course Demographic Form, so you are prepared for the information you will be asked to collect and report back to the HSPI
  4. Complete and mail the Classroom Tester Application to the following address:

    Attn: Cindy Wingenroth
    The POGIL Project
    Franklin & Marshall College
    PO Box 3003
    Lancaster, PA 17604-3003

You will receive an email acknowledgement when your application is received. Upon approval of your application, you will be sent a link to access the HSPI Moodle site, where activities available for classroom testing will be posted.
