Specific Outcomes of the ANA-POGIL Grant Project
- Forty analytical activities written by multiple authors, which follow the POGIL philosophy and cover a range of key analytical chemistry concepts. An instructor's guide will supplement these materials. All materials will be commercially published.
- Peer-assessment and student-assessment of all written materials according to rubrics established by the consortium and assessors.
- A set of assessment tools that can be used by chemistry faculty to assess process outcomes.
- Assessment of the impact of the activities upon student learning, attitudes, and process skills at a diverse set of institutions.
- A consortium of analytical chemistry faculty who are actively contributing their knowledge and experience to the development, assessment, implementation, and dissemination of effective POGIL materials.
